“Urban Pop” Solo Exhibition, Glacier Sotheby’s, Missoula
I’m thrilled to announce that I will be having a solo exhibition entitled “Urban Pop” at Glacier Sotheby’s Int’l Realty (Maddux Group) in Missoula beginning this Friday, August 1st. Dawn Maddux, owner of Glacier Sotheby’s, and I have been talking about doing this show for months and I’m tremendously excited that the time has finally arrived. Dawn’s space is perfect for the display of art: high ceilings, exposed brick walls, natural light; truly a wonderful setting for the show.
The theme of this exhibition has to do with my fascination with, and questions about, popular culture in our society. The images in the show are all from urban settings such as New York, Paris, Berlin, and Rome. An artist statement on the exhibition is attached below as well as one of the seven images that will complete the exhibition.
There will be an artist reception this Friday from 5-8 in conjunction with downtown Missoula’s monthly First Friday Art Walk. Please stop by if you’re in town!
