Two New Exhibitions
I’m very excited to announce two new exhibitions of my work: one solo and one group show.
The solo show is at the Beebe & Runyan Building in Omaha, Nebraska. Big thanks to my long-time friend, and fellow artist, Kristae Peterson for inviting me to display my work there. The show will consist of four large prints (30″x45″ and 40″x60″) hung in the lobby. The Beebe & Runyan Building (105 S. 9th St.) is an old warehouse that’s been converted into loft apartments in the Old Market section of downtown Omaha. The exhibition will begin later this week and will run through the holidays. For those of you in Omaha anytime over the next couple months, please contact Kristae to view the exhibition.
The second exhibition is Voyages! at The Kiernan Gallery in Lexington, Virginia. One of my images was selected to be part of the 25-image group show. The exhibition was juried and curated by Christy Karpinski, founder and editor of F-Stop Magazine, which makes it especially exciting for me. I’ve admired Christy since meeting her at the Filter Photo Festival in Chicago two years ago and was able to spend some more fun time with her at this years Filter ,just a few weeks ago. All of you photographers out there should definitely get on her e-mail list. The show runs from December 4-28, with an opening reception on December 6.
Lastly, thank you all for the overwhelmingly positive response to the announcement of my Venice Photography Workshop next March. It’s going to be such a fun and inspiring week. I can’t wait to get there! Please feel free to share the workshop information with anyone you think might be interested.
The first four images will be in the Omaha exhibition, the last one will be part of Voyages!.
