1650 Gallery & New York Center for Photographic Art

Jul 17, 2013

This past month, both the 1650 Gallery in Los Angeles and the New York Center for Photographic Art held contests with the same theme: Urban Landscapes. That being one of my favorite genres of photography, I submitted images to both, which resulted in recognition from each of them.

1650 Gallery chose “Empire” as one of the 60 images to be included in their upcoming exhibition. There will be an opening reception on Saturday, 7/20, 7:30-10:30, 1650 Echo Park Avenue, Los Angeles.

The New York Center for Photographic Art gave an Honorable Mention to one of the images from my “Layers of Berlin” series. That image happens to be the same one that was recently awarded a “Juror Award of Merit” in the International Fine Art Photography Competition: Grand Prix de la Decouverte in Paris.

I’m truly honored to be a part of both of these exhibitions by two honorable galleries dedicated to displaying and promoting fine art photography.
